Usos e Aplica\u00e7\u00f5es"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>O <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alquera.com\/pt\/carbon-activo-en-polvo\/\">carv\u00e3o activado<\/a>\u00a0\u00e9 um termo que representa uma grande fam\u00edlia de adsorventes baseados no elemento qu\u00edmico carbono, sob a forma de carbono, que s\u00e3o altamente cristalinos e t\u00eam uma grande porosidade interna. Esta alta porosidade interna \u00e9 o que d\u00e1 ao carv\u00e3o activado as suas grandes aplica\u00e7\u00f5es. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"186\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alquera.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/carbon-activo-en-grano.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10282\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.alquera.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/carbon-activo-en-grano.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.alquera.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/carbon-activo-en-grano-64x40.jpg 64w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\nO carbono activado caracteriza-se por um n\u00famero muito elevado de microporos. Os microporos s\u00e3o inferiores a 2 nan\u00f3metros de raio (1 nan\u00f3metro=1e-9 m). Gra\u00e7as a esta elevada microporosidade, a sua superf\u00edcie aumenta para centenas de m2 e pode ter valores de 2500m2\/g.\n\nA estrutura de carv\u00e3o activado mostra um grande n\u00famero de vazios, recessos e fissuras. \u00c9 em todos estes microporos que tem lugar a adsor\u00e7\u00e3o, que \u00e9 a caracter\u00edstica que d\u00e1 ao carv\u00e3o activado as suas aplica\u00e7\u00f5es.\n\nAo activar um carbono o que estamos a fazer \u00e9 aumentar a \u00e1rea de superf\u00edcie e a sua capacidade de adsor\u00e7\u00e3o.  O carbono pode ser activado quimicamente ou termicamente. A activa\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e9rmica \u00e9 conseguida oxidando partes do carbono, criando poros, mas impedindo que o carbono se evapore e perca mais carbono do que o necess\u00e1rio. O processo t\u00e9rmico tem lugar a temperaturas entre 600 e 1000\u00b0C.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ADSOR\u00c7\u00c3O DE CARV\u00c3O ACTIVADO<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A principal caracter\u00edstica do carv\u00e3o activado \u00e9 a sua adsor\u00e7\u00e3o. Adsor\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o deve ser confundida com absor\u00e7\u00e3o. Na adsor\u00e7\u00e3o, o s\u00f3lido adsorvente (neste caso carv\u00e3o activado) \u00e9 utilizado para remover subst\u00e2ncias da \u00e1gua ou do ar. O carbono activado tem uma grande superf\u00edcie interna, gra\u00e7as aos microporos, de entre 500 e 1500m2\/grama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O carbono granulado \u00e9 utilizado especialmente no tratamento de \u00e1gua e pode adsorver as seguintes part\u00edculas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u00d3leo vegetal<\/li><li>Subst\u00e2ncias halogenadas: I, Br, Cl, H, e F<\/li><li>Sabor<\/li><li>Odores<\/li><li>Levedura<\/li><li>Subst\u00e2ncias n\u00e3o sol\u00faveis em \u00e1gua<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">APLICA\u00c7\u00d5ES DE CARV\u00c3O ACTIVADO<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Filtros de \u00e1gua de carbono activado. Para tornar a \u00e1gua pot\u00e1vel (gra\u00e7as ao carbono \u00e9 poss\u00edvel reter gorduras, \u00f3leos, odores, toxinas, insecticidas, compostos org\u00e2nicos da decomposi\u00e7\u00e3o de vegetais ou animais...).<\/li><li>Filtros de ar de carbono activado. Elimina\u00e7\u00e3o de odores no ar. O carbono activado \u00e9 utilizado, por exemplo, em sistemas de recircula\u00e7\u00e3o de ar, ou em respiradouros de drenagem.<\/li><li>Carv\u00e3o activado em aqu\u00e1rios.
