Ammonium Sulphate is a salt formed by reaction between Ammonia and Sulphuric Acid. It occurs as white to beige crystals or granules. The bulk density is between 0.8 and 1.1. It is soluble in water and insoluble in alcohol. It decomposes by heating to 235°C. In contact with alkalis, it gives off ammonia.
