CALCULATOR

The calculation of the amount of magic snow The powdered snow you need is made according to the volume of snow you want to obtain. Therefore you will need to know the width and length (in metres) you want to cover, as well as the height you want to give to the snow (in mm).

WHAT DOES THE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM SNOW VALUE MEAN

When you do the calculation you will see that you get a range of values. This is because this snow allows a very wide range of water absorption. In tests we have defined min and max values for the amount of water in which an optimum snow appearance is obtained. The reference values are between 300 and 500ml per 10 grams of snow. If you use 300ml per 10 grams of water, you will get a very dry and powdery snow. If you use 500ml per 10 grams of water you will get a wetter and heavier snow. Depending on the type of snow you want to obtain, you can vary the amount of water between these values. In this picture you can see the difference

degree of absorption of artificial snow

The range of values we give you as min and max value of snow you need, is to take into account the range of 300-500ml per 10 grams of product. If you want a drier snow, take the max amount of snow and apply the ratio of 300ml per 10 grams of snow. If you want a wetter snow, take the min amount of snow and apply the ratio of 500ml per 10 grams of snow.
